We design, implement and manage proprietary facilities and systems which repurpose plastic waste into furniture and blocks used in the construction of schools, libraries and clinics in Africa. Among other applications of recycled material products is the production of school furniture to address the demand in schools driven by the ban on logging. The Company will establish a plastic converting manufacturing plant to initially manufacture school desks applying an innovative international technology to address this demand while contributing towards the environmental management and job creation imperatives of each county in which it operates. These recycled desks we produce meet five critical needs. They: I. Give municipalities a feasible and cost effective alternative to landfilling the waste, and II. Raise industry in municipalities where youth will be employed, and III. Provide environmentally-friendly learning equipment, and IV. Produce sustainable locally-produced building material to developers, and V. Generate revenue for our strategic partners whilst meeting international development goals. The growing utilization of plastics in industrial and consumer applications, combined with increased consumer awareness surrounding solid waste recycling, has led to an increased demand for recycled plastic products by environmentally conscious institutions and individuals. One of the fastest growing types of collected plastic materials for recycling is polyethylene terephthalate ("PET") from post-consumer beverage and water bottles. Present disposal strategies of plastic waste on the continent results in at least half of it ending up in landfill that has subsequent environmental effects such as flooding, the spreading of disease and residual sanitation problems. Plastic has capitalized on this opportunity by developing a long-term solution for industry stakeholders (municipality authorities, corporations and individual investors).
