Energy Planning is critical in enhancing smooth and Just Transition to #RenewableEnergy. In a two day Workshop organized Sustainable Energy Access Forum Kenya (SEAF-K) to share knowledge and learn best practices across the Country. Energy as outlined in #SDG7 plays a critical role in Enabling the Country to move ahead hence we must ensure we are using #Sustainable and #Renewable forms of Energy. One very important planning tool is the #CountyEnergyPlan that clearly outlines the needs and the potentials in our #Counties especially on matters #RenewableEnergy. omenyi brian

Early this week, we held a two-day training for the Baringo County Climate Change Planning Committee and the Climate Change Unit. The technical teams have a great mandate to coordinate the implementation of climate change projects from the communities. As the impacts of climate change continue to manifest, there is urgent need to enhance the capacity of those charged with the mandate of championing climate action in the communities #leadingthechange WWF-Kenya Världsnaturfonden WWF / WWF Sweden Nickson Orwa Shilér Al Fouadi omenyi brian

I recently joined my team from Kenya Water Ambassadors in partnership with Kiuesa for a two-day fieldwork activity supported by the Sustainable Energy Access Forum and WWF-Kenya through the Leading The Change 2 Project. Our aim was to bring onboard young innovative minds from selected Universities in Nandi, Vihiga and Kisumu County to help tackle the water crisis in Kenya. ☄️Part of our agenda included identifying participants for the upcoming Journey of Water Reading Kibos Edition on 19th-21st June planned and organized by WWF-Kenya and partners. The need for active involvement of young people in matters that concern them cannot be overemphasized. 🗣️✨. ☄️Hence, as Kenya Water Ambassadors , we have taken steps to provide a platform for young people to spearhead the conservation and protection of freshwater ecosystems.💧💧 Glad to work alongside amazing people Modester Lynn Michael Onduto Brian misiati #wateractionnow #water4peace WWF-Kenya Kaimosi Friends University (KAFU) University of Eastern Africa Baraton Koitaleel Samoei University College omenyi brian Sustainable Energy Access Forum Kenya (SEAF-K) Enock Ole Kiminta
