In partnership with ACCESS CSOs Kenya Climate Change Working Group we convened a stakeholders meeting to develop inputs for inclusion in Kenya’s National Energy Policy review process currently underway. Key aspects include inclusive energy planning, and productive uses of energy WWF-Kenya Power Up

Energy Planning is critical in enhancing smooth and Just Transition to #RenewableEnergy. In a two day Workshop organized Sustainable Energy Access Forum Kenya (SEAF-K) to share knowledge and learn best practices across the Country. Energy as outlined in #SDG7 plays a critical role in Enabling the Country to move ahead hence we must ensure we are using #Sustainable and #Renewable forms of Energy. I recently joined my team from Kenya Water Ambassadors in partnership with Kiuesa for a two-day fieldwork activity supported by the Sustainable Energy Access Forum and WWF-Kenya through the Leading The Change 2 Project.Our aim was to bring onboard young innovative minds from selected Universities in Nandi, Vihiga and Kisumu County to help tackle the water crisis in Kenya. ☄️Part of our agenda included identifying participants for the upcoming Journey of Water Reading Kibos Edition on 19th-21st June planned and organized by WWF-Kenya and partners. With the support of Sustainable Energy Access Forum Kenya (SEAF-K) and collaboration with Kenya Inter-Universiity Environmental Student Association (KIUESA)our Team Kenya Water Ambassadors successfully conducted a strategic two-day recruitment process in 6 I'm Universities namely University of Eastern Africa Baraton Koitaleel Samoei University College Kaimosi Friends University (KAFU) Great Lakes University and Kisumu Polytechnic.
