About us
The Old Cambrian Society (OCS) aims to develop camaraderie and enhance networking among the community of the Old Boys of Nairobi School. In addition to greater engagement within the Old Cambrian community, the OCS creates a conduit of engagement with the student community at Nairobi School. Through the various sub-committees within the OCS, Old Boys are provided with a channel to give back to the school by mentoring the boys across academia and on the extra curricula activity front. As all Old Cambrians will attest, Nairobi School formed the basis for the development of an all rounded character which has seen many an old boy achieve success across multiple platforms in society. Through our collective engagement, let us create a community that provides a powerful platform to catapult and nurture young Nairobi School leavers into the world.

We are excited to learn that Zack Oloo (Class of 1970-1975) , Steve Le Feuvre (Class of 1970-1975) and Everett Igobwa (Class of 1983-1986 ) have taken the initiative to write the comprehensive and exciting history of Nairobi School in a book scheduled for publication in 2025. Proposed subject areas to be covered include: * Documentation of founding and ethos * Celebrate remarkable alumni * Documenting comprehensive history * Academic excellence and achievements etc The team of co-authors invites support in this undertaking. The Old Cambrian Society has successfully handed over sports kits to four teams at Nairobi School: football, hockey, basketball, and rugby. This initiative was made possible through a successful member-supported funds drive, resulting in the purchase of complete sets of kits for these teams. Additionally, replica jerseys will be available for sale to alumni in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for more details.
