Thriving Teens Foundation
Non-profit Organizations
We seek to empower adolescents and young people in Kenya and Africa, through Advocacy, Mentorship, and Research.
About us
Our commitment is that every adolescent should not only survive the transition from childhood to adulthood but should thrive in it. We aim to promote their overall health and well-being, with special focus on their sexual and reproductive health and rights. We aim to create effective customized solutions for the unique challenges faced by the African adolescent, who may also have other special needs. Our solutions are acceptable, accessible, affordable, sustainable, and culture-sensitive; reflecting the diversity of our country Kenya, and the African continent at large.

What an incredible program this has been! 🎉 We are beyond grateful for the partnership with CFK Africa. The chance to connect with young people, share experiences, learn from their perspectives, and empower them to make better decisions has been nothing short of amazing. Here’s to many more impactful programs together—#WeSeeYou #WeFeelSeen #GrooveAndGrow #mentorship #advocacy
In partnership with Thriving Teens Foundation, we engaged our Lux Sit and Jim Rogers scholars in a vibrant and interactive Groove & Grow Fiesta addressing topics that matter most to teens like relationships, mental wellness, resilience and recovery, social media, and sexual and reproductive health. It was a meaningful chance for youth to connect, learn, and grow alongside their peers. Together, we explored life, love, and challenges in a safe, engaging, and empowering environment. #thrivingteens #youtharethefuture #youthempowerment #CFKAfrica

This holiday is all about fun times and laughter. If you are heading to a party, here are some things to consider: - Always stick with your friends. Stay together and look out for each other. Friends = your safety squad! - Watch your drink. Never leave it unattended. If you’re unsure, grab a fresh one! - Say “No” confidently. If something doesn’t feel right, it’s okay to say no. Be firm and chill about it. - Stay true to yourself. You don’t have to do anything you’re not okay with. Go have a great time and make awesome memories. Stay safe, stay smart, stay YOU! #PartySmart #thrivingtogether #happynewyear2025 #christmas2024 #adolescents

We explored Relationships—what makes them healthy and fulfilling, and how to set boundaries. Our young people were allowed to share their thoughts on friendships, love and navigating teenage crushes. Experience sharing was a true highlight today! It gave the teenagers a chance to ask their burning questions, find answers, and realize they’re not alone in their struggles. They learned that it’s okay to fall—as long as you pick yourself back up and keep going!
