Day 4 marked the final day of Diamond Trust Bank's Achieve More Girl initiative in Nakuru, in partnership with Kenya Red Cross. The day focused on a hands-on tailoring workshop, where participants were trained to make reusable sanitary pads. This workshop not only provided valuable skills but also encouraged sustainable solutions to menstrual hygiene challenges. As we conclude this incredible journey, we celebrate the progress made, the lives touched, and the communities empowered. Day 2 of Diamond Trust Bank’s Achieve More Girl initiative in Nakuru, partnered with Kenya Red Cross, started with an impactful awareness training session at DTB Nakuru Kenyatta Branch. From there, we headed to Muslim Comprehensive School, where we extended our efforts to include boys—educating 205 young men on menstrual hygiene to help break the stigma surrounding periods. We firmly believe we can’t end the stigma alone; we need men as allies in this journey.
