  • Information Sessions in Siem Reap We’d like to sincerely thank His Excellency Neak Neron, Siem Reap Deputy Provincial Governor, and all attendees at our special Australia Awards Scholarships information presentation for government officials at Siem Reap Provincial Hall and at the Amber Hotel yesterday. We’d also like to thank our 2020 AAS alumna, Ms Som Chanchhorvy, officer, Siem Reap Department of Land Management Urban Planning Construction and Cadastre, and 2019 AAS alumna, Ms Kheang Sokleng, WWF's Multi-Actor Partnership Project Manager, for sharing their experiences in Australia and after their return. We also thank one of our Equity Pathways Program (EPP) students, Mr Toeum Mikado, for sharing his journey with EPP. We’re happy to share our knowledge to encourage government officials and other participants to apply for the scholarships.   • Mekong Australia Partnership (MAP)-funded Awards Do you work in one of the following areas? Are you looking to build your knowledge through master study in Australia? • Water Security • Climate Action • Transnational Crime • Economic Resilience and Subnational Integration • Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion If yes, we have exciting news for you! You can apply for a Mekong Australia Partnership (MAP)-funded Award, in addition to an Australia Awards Scholarship • Up to five (5) MAP-funded awards for Cambodia • Open to Masters by research or Masters by coursework • Benefits are the same as for Australia Awards Scholarships, except MAP-funded awardees can participate in the Mekong-Leaders Network (Cambodia, Thailand, Viet Nam, Lao PDR and Myanmar) • The application process is the same as for Australia Awards Scholarships • Applicants can apply for both an Australia Awards Scholarship and a MAP-funded scholarship; both application forms need to be completed IMPORTANT NOTE: You can only apply for a MAP-funded award if your proposed study or research falls within one of the five (5) MAP key thematic areas detailed above.
