📚 Field Discoveries: A Closer Look at CKS Library and Kuy Community of Kompong Thom Ponlok Chomnes is excited to support 14 research fellows from the Ponlok Chomnes Research Fellowship Program. They are coming from Phnom Penh on their field visits to the Center for Khmer Studies (CKS) Main Library in Siem Reap and Kuy Community in Kompong Thom. These visits, taking place on November 7-9, are designed to deepen fellows' connections with academic resources and community members, providing hands-on experiences that enhance their research abilities. During the CKS Library visit, fellows gained valuable insights into the CKS library system, learning essential methods for accessing CKS resources, including the StoryMap research project. They explored materials critical to their academic and fieldwork goals, equipping them with the knowledge to navigate and utilize research resources more effectively. At the Kuy Community, fellows applied research skills in a real-world setting, engaging in research design, data collection, and observational study. This practical experience strengthened their capabilities for social sciences, humanities, and arts projects, empowering them to address pressing issues in Cambodia.
