Great news! AID (Animal Industry Data)’s contributions to the Economic Impact of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) project, led by the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH), were recently highlighted at the 79th United Nations General Assembly. #AMR is a serious global issue affecting both human and animal health. In 2022, it caused 1.15 million deaths, with projections estimating up to 39 million deaths by 2050. It also poses a risk to the food supply for over 2 billion people. As the only Korean company involved in this project, AID played a key role in demonstrating how AI-based livestock management can help combat #AMR while improving farm economics. Our AI technology detects health issues in pigs early, helping to reduce disease outbreaks and lower the need for antibiotics. Over three years, farms using this technology saw: 💰 Profitability increase by 417% on average 💊 Antibiotic costs drop by 53% 🏥 Medical expenses reduced by 44% Based on these results, AID will continue expanding our digital livestock healthcare solution, "#Farmsplan," both in Korea and internationally, driving more sustainable and productive farming practices. We’ve got some exciting news to share! Animal Industry Data Korea has partnered with Reliance Jio, part of India’s largest business group, Reliance. Together, we’re conducting a Proof of Concept (PoC) for our digital livestock healthcare solution, #Farmsplan. Starting next month, we’ll be testing it at local farms in India, focusing on cattle, pigs, chickens, and horses. This is a big step towards improving livestock health with advanced technology.   Here’s what we’re working on: ✅ Monitoring livestock conditions and managing their health based on AI data and veterinary insights ✅ Detecting heat cycles, health, and feeding behavior using cameras and biometric sensors ✅ Spotting abnormal signs in livestock based on their feeding and water intake ✅ Managing farm environments with environmental sensors   India, being one of the largest livestock producers, is the perfect place to drive digital innovation in agriculture. #AID #Vietnam Introducing 'Farm Vet Care', a contactless veterinary care system launched in Vietnam. This app can be used if you are in an area where veterinary care is not available, or if you want to see a veterinarian quickly. It can be used by farmers, veterinarians, and administrators who manage these two groups. We are also planning to launch this service in India. India has one of the most developed dairy industries in the world, and we will be helping farmers in India to keep their animals healthier with 'Farm vet care'. We all live in different places, but we all have access to the same services.

#AID ASF is a major problem around the world. There is no vaccine yet, and many countries are trying to deal with it by culling pigs. That's because it's so contagious. If a pig gets ASF, it doesn't necessarily die. As Dr. Song from AID and Prof. Song from Konkuk University explain, the key to dealing with ASF is to manage the pig's immunity. ASF virus infects the main immune cells in the pig's body and reduces immune function. Therefore, it is necessary to enhance the activity of these cells to increase resistance to the virus in the early stages of infection or when the virus is weak. AID's farmsplan realizes individual immune management as well as artificial intelligence technology. farmsplan immune management can effectively respond not only to ASF but also to PRRS and PED. #AID Until recently, preventive medicine was limited to humans, but we recognized its importance and applied it to livestock. We draw blood to determine the health of the animals. Dr.Harrison is a 20-year veterinarian in the livestock industry and consults from a preventive medicine perspective in the field. We have reduced antibiotic use by up to 83% through farm-specific consulting based on the results of livestock blood analysis (medical check ups).
