DL E&C Spreads Warmth with Year-End Briquette Volunteer Service in Sangye-dong 🌿 As temperatures dropped sharply in December, DL E&C once again extended a helping hand to energy-vulnerable communities through our annual Hansup Love Briquette Volunteer Service. This year, we delivered warmth to the residents of Heemangchon in Sangye-dong, Seoul. 🔹 Why Briquette Volunteering Still Matters Despite advancements in heating technology, over 74,000 households in Korea still rely on coal briquettes as a vital source of heat. The residents of Heemangchon, a village formed by displaced communities from Seoul’s redevelopment in the 1960s-70s, continue to endure cold winters without access to city gas. 🔹 Facing Growing Challenges The need for support is more urgent than ever. In July 2024, Seoul’s last briquette factory closed, leaving vulnerable households with even fewer options for heating. With rising briquette prices and dwindling supply, continued support through volunteer efforts is crucial. 🔹 Delivering Warmth in Action On December 7th, over 100 DL E&C employees and their families came together in Sangye-dong to deliver 2,000 briquettes to 10 households. Volunteers formed human chains to pass briquettes through narrow alleys, filling the village with both physical warmth and heartfelt care. In addition to the briquettes, we also delivered 40 sacks of rice to 40 households, ensuring even more families felt supported during the cold season. 🔹 A Community United in Kindness Our volunteer event was made even more special by a local community member who, for the second year in a row, voluntarily prepared and shared warm tteokbokki and fish cakes with residents and volunteers—turning a simple meal into a touching act of kindness. For years, the only way there was by sea🚢 Now, the island is getting its first air route with Ulleung Airport, the first of its kind in Korea for such a remote location. Connected to Sadong Port in the south, the airport will be just an hour’s flight away from anywhere in Korea, making day trips to and from Ulleungdo a reality!🛫 Visitors will have easy access to its pristine beauty, while locals enjoy greater convenience in their daily lives. Each part specializes in different aspects of delivering cohesive brand and customer experiences.   Q: What does each part do?   Branding Part (Minyoung): We focus on developing and managing brand strategies for DL E&C’s iconic housing brands, e Pyeonhansesang and ACRO. From monitoring market trends to planning multifaceted development concepts, our job is to ensure consistent brand value across every customer touchpoint.   Data Part (Myungwoo): We analyze key real estate data, such as unsold housing inventory and subscription competition rates, to provide actionable insights. Our in-house system, Early Warning System (EWS), monitors real estate trends, helping other parts align their strategies.   Content Part (Jiwon): We manage the creation of all customer-facing materials—brochures, videos, signage, and even naming new residential projects.
