Last week, Nara Space made its first visit to #SpaceTechExpo2024, an annual large-scale space technology expo. In particular, Mr. Lee Jung-kyu, Director of the Satellite Development Department, introduced #Narsha, Nara Space's second satellite constellation and Korea's first methane observation satellite, during a session presentation, drawing significant interest. 🤝 We are looking forward to new opportunities to expand our technology from South Korea to global markets. The 29th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (#COP29) took place in Baku, Azerbaijan, from November 11 to 22. Nara Space proudly participated with a booth hosted by the Korean Pavilion, showcasing how satellite technology and data can address climate change challenges. We introduced #Narsha, South Korea's first methane monitoring satellite, which is set to launch soon. This innovative satellite will enable better observations of methane leaks, playing a crucial role in mitigating climate change. As the only space company present in the Korean Pavilion, it was an excellent opportunity to demonstrate how satellites and their data can contribute to a sustainable future. 🚀The 29th United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP29) is underway in Baku, Azerbaijan, with a particular focus on how countries plan to limit long-term global temperature rises to 1.5°C. This year is projected to be the warmest on record, emphasizing the urgency of taking immediate action on climate change.
