The location is truly spectacular, on top of a hill with breathtaking views. Good breakfast. The bed was the most uncomfortable I slept in all week (we changed hotels every night) - hard and very poor bed. Lighting in the room was very poor too. We were told the indoor pool was "warm" and it was not heated, and I found either rat or bat poo on my sun lounger by the indoor pool - and quite a bit of it! There was a blackboard advertising "sauna" which we would have loved but they said it was over booked and not available. Upon investigating it was not even switched on - which led us t believe it was broken! Staff tried to be helpful but seemed a bit disorganised - we ordered a picnic at a cost of Euro 10 per head and the sandwiches were disgustingly soggy and not good. We had dinner at a neighbouring restaurant and were driven there by a very grumpy and unfriendly minibus driver. All in all I felt that this place could be truly exceptional but had definitely seen better days.

My family and I spent a wonderful 3 days here. The room was great, the pool amazing. The onsite restaurant is convenient and was so good that we ate there every night we were there. The staff are all extremely helpful and welcoming, and I wouldn't hesitate to come back again...

We stayed here on a cycling tour through Tuscany. The room was simple but large, comfortable and clean. The hotel is situated in the countryside and the views across the Tuscan hills are magical. Breakfast was served on site. It was a little limited but very nice. Dinner was served at the main building about 1km down the gravel road (transport provided). They provided an excellent meal with good wine at a very reasonable price. A place to relax and take in the beauty of Tuscany.

four days of total relax surrounded by world class Tuscan hills. perfectly clean accomodations. ideal for horse enthusiasts. great food at the restaurant. The people running the place very special. But this farm is not pet friendly. i was charged 50 euro for my dog who is cleaner tha some people especially the couples who stain the sheets with blood and sperm..my dog slept on his own covers..walking in the wet grass we left a trail on the floor..no stains on the sheets..i had to argue in the restaurant for permission to allow the dog entrance..I dont leave him in the rain!! The grouds were full of sigarette butts and horse manure.. Shame on you
