I recently stayed at Shalom Indus Hotel in Goa, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. First and foremost, the hygiene standards at the hotel were appalling. The room was not properly cleaned, and I found bugs in both the bed and bathroom, which was absolutely unacceptable. The general cleanliness of the hotel seemed to be neglected, which made the stay uncomfortable and unpleasant. On top of that, the staff was uncooperative and seemed indifferent to guest concerns. Whenever I approached them for assistance, they appeared disinterested and unhelpful. It felt like they were more of a hindrance than a help. The service was the worst part of the experience. It was slow, inefficient, and the staff seemed poorly trained. From long waiting times at the restaurant to unresponsive room service, everything was frustratingly delayed. For a hotel that promises a pleasant stay, Shalom Indus fails miserably in delivering on its promises. I would not recommend this place to anyone and certainly will not be returning. There are far better options in Goa offering a much more pleasant experience.
