The establishment failed to meet expectations set by previous experiences and the enticing imagery portrayed on social media. My family encountered multiple distressing disappointments throughout our stay. The limited and unsatisfactory restaurant menu, especially for children, coupled with missing amenities such as a fisherman's deep freeze, raised concerns about the hotel's preparedness, particularly during a peak season. Upon arrival, the meal options failed to cater to children's needs, along with subpar food quality, was highly unsatisfactory. The unavailability of basic items like Crème soda and milkshakes in a kid-friendly establishment added to our disappointment. The most alarming aspect was the discrepancy between advertised and actual room conditions. A booked "sea view" room offered no view due to overgrown trees, and the room's state was far from what was portrayed online. Subpar hygiene, leaking ceilings, low water pressure, and insect infestations made the room inhospitable. Further discomfort emerged as we encountered leaking areas throughout the hotel, including the restaurant and bar, and observed unclean pool facilities and dilapidated common areas. Our distress reached its peak during the night, plagued by mosquito bites and encounters with cockroaches in the room, without any insect repellent available leading to a sleepless and uncomfortable night for our family. Despite expressing our concerns to the front desk during checkout, the lack of acknowledgment or follow-up left us disillusioned about the hotel's commitment to addressing these issues as they seemed aware yet didn't address them adequately.
