인기 코닝 베스트 웨스턴 플러스 호텔

Corning is a hard working town, and probably most of the visitors are traveling through. I was there with a group doing some fishing for a few days and just needed a relatively simple place to crash for a couple of nights. This motel is what you would expect for the price---the front desk person was extremely nice and personable/helpful. The walls in the rooms are paper thin and I slept poorly with either loud conversations next door, or REALLY loud snoring. I guess the room was relatively clean (?)--everything is pretty worn out. I found my room and rate featured through Tripadvisor using Algotels. DON”T USE THEM. They are absolutely horrible. Even though I had a confirmed reservation in hand from Algotels, the front desk person told me my credit card had been declined. There was no contact information on the Algotels confirmation email. Finally found a number on the web and of course was put into a hold queue when calling...which eventually led to the call just being dropped. After a dozen tries with the same result (no exaggeration), I gave up. I have yet been able to contact Algotels and who knows if I will get double billed for the room (I paid for the room directly at the front desk). I got the same rate as Algotels gave me, so why did I use them in the first place anyway? TripAdvisor REALLY needs to review partners such as Algotels and NOT USE THEM! A quick search on the web shows a 1 star rating... they've got problems. Trip Advisor is supposed to make my travel easy----they led me to a horrible experience. Overall, a pretty rotten visit based on the accommodations and the service from Algotels. Admittedly, I am not surprised by the quality of the accommodations, but the overall experience rates a 1 star minus.

We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend the night. Both of us were exhausted to the point of near collapse the night we arrived at the Corning, CA Econo Lodge. From the moment we walked in the office door we knew that we were in the right place. Tim was working the desk that night. He greeted us warmly and sincerely and made us feel very welcome. Our room was spotlessly clean and very appealing. Hot showers and a comfortable bed made for a pleasant night. The room was quiet, clean and the bed was perfect. The next morning we had yummy waffles and juice in an extremely clean and well-kept kitchen area. The man working the counter went out of his way to let us know that we mattered to him personally. We cannot say enough good things about this motel. Highly recommend to anyone and we will definitely be making this our new 'go-to' lodging on I-5.
