The only negative was I was very close to the check-in desk, which is also where the continental breakfast was located. So the noise of them setting up woke me at 5 am. I was going to stay for breakfast, but since I was up so early, I went ahead and headed toward my next destination. Other than that, everything was fine.

The hotel appears new; the rooms are large, comfortable, and clean. We travel eight months of the year, spending four to five days in Litchfield every October. We are Diamond members of Choice and Hilton. Would I I stay here again over our regular choice of the Hampton Inn? I would not choose this hotel for three reasons: 1. The day the manager is rude. 2. The hotel did not have oatmeal, the only food on my husband's cardiac-restricted regimen that is available on hotel breakfast buffets. . The manager said they were out and it took a long time to order (Hello, there is an Alfis and Walmart across the street.) 3. The internet would not stay logged in to Wi-Fi during the day while I was working. The managers response? His Is working fine .

Rooms - The room was clean and had sufficient space for our family of 4. We really appreciated the bench seats! A fridge, microwave and coffee machine are also in the room. There is a large closet. Adjoining rooms are available. We thought the beds were a bit firm, but we like soft beds. The bathroom was spacious & clean. The towels were a bit rough, but did the job of drying so we can’t complain. The blinds weren’t blackout, so be prepared for the sun to come in and wake you up. Pool - The pool was a salt water pool and we have not seen a pool as clean as this one in a long time. Seriously - the tables were clean, the floor was clean, the pool was clean, the towels were stocked and there wasn’t a bandaid in sight! There is not a hot tub, but part of the pool has a bench with jets, so that was nice! Breakfast - Great hot breakfast. Eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, oatmeal, cinnamon rolls, muffins & breads, cereal, yogurt, and pancakes.
