The Strategic AI for Financial Services Programme wrapped up last month in the Cayman Islands – what an incredible success! It was an absolute pleasure to lecture alongside Lucía Gallardo (Emerge) and David Strucke (Datastreamer), with brilliant guest lecturers Tyler Logtenberg (Datastreamer), Tom Jenkins (OpenText), Brandon Caruana (Tenet Bank) and Julian Morris (International Center for Law & Economics). 🌟 The programme dived deep into the transformative impact of AI on jobs, organisations and industries, with a sharp focus on its game-changing implications for Financial Services. Participants not only tackled the challenges of AI but also envisioned its future, gaining critical insights into its evolution and applications. 🚀 A massive shoutout to our participants from Deloitte, PwC Cayman Islands, KPMG in the Cayman Islands, Maples Group and CoinList! 🙌 Their engagement and leadership truly showcased how we can navigate and thrive in a rapidly changing technological landscape. This programme was part of the Partnership Pilot Project under the IT Skills Initiative – a collaboration between the International College of the Cayman Islands, Enterprise Cayman, the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants (CIIPA) and Digital Cayman, supported by the Pinewood Foundation. Together, we’ve demonstrated the opportunity to strengthen Cayman’s position as a global leader in #FinancialServices and #FinTech #Innovation. 🌎✨ A special thanks to my incredible fellow coordinators Marilyn Layne (CIIPA) and Kaitlyn Elphinstone (Enterprise Cayman) – your support in shaping and delivering this programme was invaluable. 💡👏 Here’s to building a future of innovation and opportunity! 🎉 #AI #FinTech #Education #Innovation
