🆕 Exciting Opportunity: *Director* – based in the Cayman Islands🌴 🆕 We're seeking a Director to join Marfire, the leading offshore web3 fiduciary firm, to serve on the boards of Foundations (DAOs) and OpCo's with a web3 focus. As part of our specialized team in the Cayman Islands, you'll enjoy flexibility, professional growth, and the chance to shape the future of web3. In this role, you would support Marfire’s fiduciary services business and be accountable for the operations and service standards, whilst creating strong, profitable and personal relationships with clients and service providers within the global web3 ecosystem. The candidate would work closely with our leadership to: • be actively involved in new business development, constantly seeking out relationships that enrich Marfire's knowledge and experience in the industry; • be a thought-leader within the web3 space, showing an active curiosity and passion for the work that we do and the value that we create; and • uphold Marfire's core values by promoting a culture of professionalism, teamwork and leadership. Main responsibilities: • Acting as a member of the board of directors, with a particular focus on the web3 ecosystem, for Foundations (DAOs) and OpCo’s. • Participating in board of director meetings and adhering to the typical responsibilities of a director, at the highest standard of care and in accordance with the policies and procedures of Marfire and our regulator in the Cayman Islands. • Ensuring the fiduciary services team in the Cayman Islands delivers on client mandates and deadlines. • Keeping the leadership team abreast of significant matters that may arise within the role, clients and the ecosystem. • Maintain excellent working relationships with all service providers within the industry. • Working to develop new business for Marfire, including producing fee proposals, participation in client meetings, client calls and business travel. • Taking ownership for client onboarding and working with our Chief Compliance Officer to ensure all due diligence and KYC procedures are adhered to at the highest standard of compliance. • Producing monthly reports, articles and presentations as required for our business development. Experience: • An experienced and registered Director, having already served in the role for 5+ years in the Cayman Islands within the web3 or asset management industry; or • A lawyer or finance professional (chartered accountant, investment analyst, etc) with 7.5+ years experience in such roles within the web3 or asset management industry and looking to make a change to fiduciary. • Professional or personal interest in web3, you would be surrounded by a team that will enrich your knowledge and keep you up to date.
