Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) is the leading stock exchange in the Central Asian region. KASE ranks second among the CIS exchanges in terms of volume of securities trading, and fifth in terms of capitalization of the FEAS stock market. It is a universal trading floor for corporate and government securities, bonds of international financial institutions, foreign currencies, money market transactions - repo and swap, as well as derivative instruments. KASE is a member of the International Federation of Exchanges (WFE), Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges (FEAS) and other international and domestic professional associations, as well as a member of the UN initiative "Stock Exchanges for Sustainable Development".

  • 📢Zhainar Sarzhakov, Deputy Chairman of KASE's Management Board, talked at the 13th meeting of the Subcommittee on Financial Cooperation of the Kazakh-Chinese Cooperation Committee. 🔸He highlighted the importance of trading in the yuan/tenge currency pair on KASE, stating that the Exchange views this sector as strategically significant. Efforts are ongoing to enhance trading conditions in order to boost efficiency. 🔸The meeting, hosted by the International Cooperation Department of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, focused on advancing transactions in national currencies, enhancing financial collaboration, and implementing new technologies.

  • 📢On February 28, KASE hosted a meeting with representatives from the Asian Development Bank (ADB), during which the participants discussed key reforms aimed at developing the government securities market and the financial sector. 🔸The Exchange presented a review of mechanisms designed to boost market liquidity and improve transparency and disclosure practices among issuers, thereby fostering investor trust and advancing the financial ecosystem. ADB and KASE also explored potential collaboration areas, such as regional capital market integration, ESG reporting, the development of a carbon trading market, and the Islamic finance infrastructure in Kazakhstan. 🔸The Asian Development Bank is a leasing multilateral development bank that promotes sustainable and inclusive growth across Asia and the Pacific. Cooperating with its member countries and partners, ADB addresses intricate challenges by leveraging innovative financial products and strategic partnerships to improve peoples' lives, develop high-quality infrastructure, and safeguard the environment.   • 📢Employees of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange took part in a job fair, which was held as part of the 6th IT conference Data Community, organized by the center of expertise in the field of data analysis DataBoom. More than 400 people attended the event. 🔸 Fair participants learned about KASE's areas of activity, exchange indicators on the markets and trading opportunities at the exchange.   • 📢On March 6, 2018, Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), as part of the UN Sustainable Stock Exchanges Initiative (UN SSE Initiative), will hold the market open ceremony "Ring the Bell for ALL Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment". 🔸The ceremony will feature panel discussions on the role of women in the world of investment and innovation, in which participants will talk about women's investment strategies, as well as the innovative solutions they develop and implement in business. 🔸KASE joined the UN SSE Initiative in 2015. In 2024, the Ring the Bell for Gender Equality was attended by 111 exchanges from more than 100 countries. 🔸The global campaign Ring the Bell for Gender Equality aims to draw attention of the global community to issues of gender diversity and the expansion of women's influence in politics, economics and business.
