Super excited to host Zohaib Ali at the Paklaunch UNConference '24.2 in Palo Alto on 3rd-4th October. Zohaib Ali is the Co-Founder of Dastgyr, a B2B e-commerce marketplace connecting buyers to sellers across Pakistan and MENA markets. They are re-engineering the conventional retail business with empowering technologies and innovative supply-chain solutions to help businesses grow faster. Dastgyr's Buyer app allows business owners to purchase a wide assortment of products from various local and international sellers at competitive prices with reliable, doorstep delivery, all with a few clicks from their smartphones. Their Seller app enables suppliers of all sizes to upload their inventory, manage their orders, and ultimately, increase their overall throughput. Dastgyr business thrives in the FMCG, Construction, Chemicals, and Agricultural Goods verticals. Dastgyr has raised $37 million in Series A funding, where the round was led by VEON Venture — the corporate venture arm of Jazz Pakistan’s parent company — with a contribution of $15m. Other participants in the round were Zinal Growth, DEG, Khwarizmi Ventures, OTF Jasoor Ventures, Cedar Mundi Ventures, Reflect Ventures, century oak capital, Hi2 Global, GoingVC, Astir Ventures, K3 Diversity Ventures, and Chandaria Capital, along with the founders of Property Finder, Ayoconnect, Quiqup, and senior management from DoorDash.
