To do so, DiaLeb works to promote healthy lifestyles and spread awareness about diabetes in order to make living with the disease more manageable for all those affected and their families. On February 13, 2025, our Program Operations Coordinator, Thalia Salloum, and #DiaLeb Board member, Rita Korban, participated in the L’Oréal-UNESCO “For Women in #Science” Levant Young Talents Programme, under the high patronage and in the presence of Mr. Ziad Makary, Former Minister of Information, and H.E. Dr.Tamara ELZEIN, Minister of Environment, former Secretary-General of the National Council for Scientific Research, and Head of the Jury. Six exceptional #Arab women were awarded for their outstanding #research at this significant event, which highlighted the importance of #empowering women in science to pursue their careers.
