It’s #NationalNursesDay, and we’d like to shoutout Halcyon MENA fellow Diana Yafi and her venture, Find A Nurse. 🩺 Through her tireless work as a social entrepreneur, Diana is already making a direct impact on the lives of hundreds of caregivers and families, and is planning on scaling globally with the lessons she’s taken from her time at Halcyon. 

After two more incredible days at Halcyon, our MENA fellows’ DC residency week concluded today. From skill series on user centric design, systems thinking, business value propositions, defining impact, and leadership to a networking partner breakfast, our MENA cohort gained so much from Thursday and Friday’s programming. We’d like to extend our sincere gratitude to Leana Katz for making this residency week possible. Our founders learned about building and scaling their teams, pitching, knowing their customers, early-stage investments, and preparing for growth in the AI revolution. They’ve also benefitted from an engaging founder-to-founder discussion with Jonathan Ortmans and Halcyon alums Mireille Raad (Sustainably.so) and Ahmad Fareed Al Saif (Alefredo EdTech), and spent Monday afternoon with the WIn fellows—an initiative by the Atlantic Council and Georgetown University.
