It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our founder and mentor, Eng. Nadim Essaid. A key figure in shaping the executive search industry in the Middle East and Arabian Gulf, he laid the foundation for what it is today, advising family groups and multinationals across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and the region. His commitment spanned 35 years, during which he built lasting relationships and supported the development of leaders who have left an enduring mark on the business landscape. Mr. Essaid’s journey was defined by dedication, wisdom, and integrity. As the pioneer of executive search in the Middle East, he built Rasd Ltd. into a firm known for placing leaders who made a significant impact across industries and communities, while remaining a firm with the right focus—serving a select group of clients with depth, thoughtfulness, and care. Beyond his professional achievements, he was known for his warmth, mentorship, and belief in the potential of others. His legacy will continue through the many lives he touched and the leaders he helped nurture. As we reflect on his life, we honor the contributions he made and the values he upheld—integrity, dedication, and vision. His absence will be deeply felt, and our thoughts are with his family during this time. Condolences will be received in Dubai on October 2 and 3, 2024, from 5 PM to 9 PM at the Anantara Downtown Dubai Hotel, 26th floor, in Business Bay, Dubai, UAE.
