The Young Studio: Learning the Language of Marketing   This case explores the entrepreneurial journey of The Young Studio Learning Academy (TYS), a tutoring business established in Dubai in 2020 by a former school teacher. Despite offering diverse services and catering to various markets, TYS faced challenges expanding in a competitive environment with limited resources.     After two years of operation, a business consultation revealed that the lack of a clear marketing strategy or defined target market was holding TYS back. To overcome this, the owner had to analyze insights from her first two years of business, consider potential market segments in Dubai, and make a pivotal decision: Who was her target market?   This case was written by Alexander Miller, Assistant Professor at Huron University, and Jash Kalyani, Product Manager at RBC. It allows students to delve into the critical aspects of marketing strategy development, from understanding vision statements and objectives to crafting segmentation and positioning strategies.  Link to the case: https://lnkd.in/dBG2-C_4 Suliman S.
