Megatech stands for state-of-the-art technology, qualitative products and passionate experts. Approximately 2.300 employees work together with the who’s who of the car manufacturers on perfect technical solutions. With our 10 plants, we are based in 6 different countries; we also operate a Tech Center. Megatech was founded in the year 2007 by Dr. Maximilian Gessler. Over the years our family-owned business has grown – not only in terms of the number of plants and employees, but also in terms of the product range and the technologies used. Using technologies such as injection molding, lamination, form pressing, edge folding, sequencing, cutting and laser marking, we produce interior parts such as door panels, interior pillars, center consoles, headliners, seat back panels and trunk components. Megatech Industries is also known for its exterior parts, e.g., exterior trims, wheel arch covers, deflectors and fender garnish. 🎄 Management on line: my holiday gift! 🎁 On 17.12. I gave myself an original gift for my holiday - a whole shift on the shopfloor! 🚗 I was working on a pre-assembled door for BMW Brilliance Automotive, which reminded me of playing with a LEGO building block. All this as part of Megatech Industries AG's "Management goes to shop floor" program. It was a bit challenging at the beginning - the tact caught me a bit off guard 😅 - but after an hour, I hope it stopped getting in the way and was even useful. 🙌 I must say that my colleagues Roman Bača, Ingrid Mikulášková and Hanka Fintová are as good as a dance couple on the floor! 💃🕺 They really danced in time until... the machine started "fake playing" or shut down completely. 🎻🎶 That was the moment when the "dancers" had to improvise and threw the whole dance show off - but hats off to my colleagues, they pulled it off brilliantly! 👏 All our activities and the quality of our work was supervised by Team-leader Irena Kuchárová, who really strictly and factually watched over the quality that the customer expects from us. After my shift, my head was clear 🧘♂️ but my legs were aching like I had run a half marathon. 🏃♂️💥 And what did it give me? A huge benefit! Seeing the whole day from a shopfloor perspective is something that a short visit will never replace. Only on line do you understand all the process context and can you realistically evaluate or suggest improvements. 🔄 Thank you to the team for a great experience and for "welcoming me to the floor"! 💪😊 and to Kristyna Dosedlova for really pushing me, because due to my time constraints, I would probably never have made it. #shopfloor #managementgoestoshopfloor #greatteam #bmw #managerdown #buildingdoors #teamwork #productionexperience 🧡 D.Ch.
