Recently, we conducted an 11 kV cubicle inspection and testing to ensure the system was safe to energize. Our scope included: ✔️ Visual Inspection on 11 kV Switchgear Panel and its components [IEC 62271] ✔️ Vacuum Circuit Breaker (VCB) Test • Contact Resistance Test • Insulation Resistance Test ✔️ Surge Arrestors • Insulation Resistance Test ✔️ Protection Relay Test via Secondary Injection (Schneider VAMP 255) [IEC 60255] • Overcurrent Protection (50, 51) • Earth Fault Protection (50N, 51N) – Executed using the Megger SVEKER 900, Relay & Substation Test System ✅ Safety First: Throughout this project, we ensured all relevant safety precautions were strictly followed to safeguard personnel and equipment. This highlights the importance of involving trained professionals in electrical maintenance and re-energization processes. Additionally, incorporating comprehensive checklists in maintenance programs can significantly reduce risks and enhance reliability.
