Under our sustainability pillar, the wellbeing of local communities, we at Coca-Cola Beverages Sri Lanka (CCBSL), initiated yet another “Say We Care” program. In collaboration with the Biyagama Police Station, we conducted a safety and well-being program that reached approximately 800 students from Al Mubarak National School in Malwana, Yatihena Maha Vidyalaya, Al Mahamooth Maha Vidyalaya, and Ananda Kanishta Vidyalaya. The program highlighted critical issues, including the prevention of drug addiction, adherence to traffic rules, road safety, and personal safety. Specific sessions on personal safety covered vital topics such as recognizing and avoiding various forms of abuse and exploitation, understanding the risks associated with social media, and practicing the safe and responsible use of smartphones. Additionally, a dedicated session on sustainable waste management educated students on responsible disposal practices, fostering environmental awareness. To ensure inclusivity, all sessions were conducted in both Sinhala and Tamil, enabling effective communication with all participants. #SayWeCare #Sustainability #CCBSL #cummunity #wellbeing
