⭐️ Team Member Tuesdays ⭐️ Dilshan Jayamanna joined our D2 Clothing plant in Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka back in 2019 as a Sewing Machinist. He quickly advanced to Manufacturing Supervisor in 2020 and now serves as a Production Assistant since 2024. In his role, Dilshan plays a key part in keeping our production running smoothly. He takes charge of organizing tasks, guiding the team, and making important decisions. Dilshan is also responsible for training new employees, handling performance reviews, and ensuring everything runs according to plan, all while upholding the values of integrity and honesty. On life at D2 Clothing (Anuradhapura), Dilshan says: “I’m proud of how far I’ve come and the growth of Design Studio Group. ⭐️ Team Member Tuesdays ⭐️ Samanthi Dissanayake joined our Design Studio Manufacturing plant in Ethawa, Sri Lanka, back in 2009 as a Production Supervisor, before moving into her current role as Head of Technical. As Head of Technical, Samanthi plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between design and production. She works closely with designers, adapting designs to suit production methods, and ensures that each garment meets our high standards. Her responsibilities also include overseeing fabric sourcing, quality checks, and ensuring that every product is made within budget. Samanthi's daily activities include budgeting garments, modifying designs, responding to product queries, and advising on suitable fabrics. She’s deeply involved in the testing and fitting of samples, ensuring that every detail is just right before full production begins. On life at Design Studio Manufacturing (Ethawa), Samanthi says: “I’ve been with Design Studio for 15 years, and it has become more than just a workplace.
