SLIIT Faculty of Computing

Established in 1999, the SLIIT Faculty of Computing stands as the largest non-state producer of computing graduates in Sri Lanka. Offering a comprehensive range of programs from Undergraduate to Postgraduate Degrees, the faculty specializes in fields such as Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Systems and Network Engineering, Information Systems Engineering, Interactive Media, and Computer Systems Engineering. Students have the flexibility to choose a path aligned with their preferences, paving the way for rewarding careers in their chosen domains. With a dedicated in-house lecturer panel, state-of-the-art computer laboratories, and practical learning experiences, SLIIT creates an ideal environment for its Faculty of Computing students to cultivate industry-ready computing skills. SLIIT computing degrees are approved by the University Grants Commission and the Ministry of Education in Sri Lanka. The institute is also a Member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities and the International Association of Universities (IAU). Students have the option of studying the Curtin University Offshore Programmers in Sri Lanka right here at SLIIT. Students can also complete their degree at one of SLIIT’s partner universities in the UK, USA, Canada, and Australia.
