Duty Before Rights

About us

Who are We.. United Human Rights Organization is a team of professionals joined to serve the public to protect and promote human rights in the country in order to have a unique society for every human being that is enjoyed by all with rights, dignity, respect and humanity. The team has been conducting motivational / awareness programs to all segments in the society on human rights and one's social responsibility, providing legal consultation, counselling, mediation, assistance in judiciary proceedings, guiding & directing the needy to relevant authorities/organizations ,etc for the last Five (05) years sacrificing and devoting most of our personal time to make lives better of those who are victimized. United Human Rights Organization is playing a vital role in the society helping the public with NO local or international funds so far. Team members contribute equal shares for our own training programs i.e. TOT- Train the Trainers programs, in order to gain and develop knowledge in human rights and fundamental rights to serve better. All other expenses are covered with contributions of Board Members at their convenience. It is NO secret that good governance surely is the timeliest requirement to Sri Lanka since most of the public is living miserable lives suffering discrimination. Feasibility study of ours has rightly identified the main reason for same as lack of knowledge of the public on human rights and rule of the law. We serve INDEPENDENTLY hence not biased and are interested in WHAT but not WHO.

Bonds like this are forged through consistent care, trust, and shared experiences over time. ✅ Actions speak louder than words. Sometimes, love is felt most deeply in the quiet moments and gestures that come from the heart. ✅ Gratitude for those who stay. Let’s cherish the people who’ve stood by us—whether family, friends, or mentors—and nurture these connections with all our heart and soul. 🤔 A Thought to Leave You With How often do we take a moment to appreciate the bonds that truly matter? Let’s not wait for a grand occasion to express our gratitude. A kind word, a small gesture, or even just being present can strengthen these relationships. 💬 What’s the bond you’re most grateful for today? Drop your thoughts below, and let’s celebrate these priceless connections together. ✍️ Credits: Written by P.S.
