Every year on October 24, people celebrate Earth Day 🌏 to show support for environmental protection and raise awareness about the climate crisis. Environmental protection and the fight against climate change are the responsibility of each of us, so at our company, we use renewable energy, with our rooftop solar plant covering most of our needs. Many employees switch from cars 🚗 to bikes 🚴♂️ for both commuting and leisure, reducing emissions and greenhouse gases, in addition, a significant number of workers use electric vehicles instead of conventional gasoline or diesel cars. Työ meillä Turulassa on projektiluontoista ja siten hyvin vaihtelevaa. Kahta samanlaista päivää ei ole, kun tuotteet, työstettävät materiaalit ja projektit vaihtuvat. Isojen laitelinjojen osaluettelot saattavat olla tuhansien rivien mittaiset, työstettävät materiaalit haastavia ja työvaiheita lukuisia. Nyt se on julkaistu, jaettu ja koulutettu meidän hitsaushenkilöstöllemme. Nimittäin Turulan hitsaajan käsikirja! Mistä tässä on kyse? Tavoitteena oli selkeyttää hitsaukseen liittyvien toimintaohjeiden saatavuutta. Tätä lähdettiin rakentamaan alhaalta ylöspäin ajatuksena, että hitsaajan käyttöön tulee saada ohjekirja, josta löytyy kaikki prosessin kannalta keskeiset ohjeet. Esimerkiksi miten silloitetaan, todetaan esilämmityslämpötila, mikä on tarkoituksenmukainen viimeistelytaso ja paljon muuta. Talven selkä taittui sisältöä viilatessa ja kuukausi sitten painetut käsikirjat jaettiin hitsaajille tutustumista varten. Varsinainen koulutus toteutettiin kahdessa erässä, joista viimeisimmässä painotus oli oman työn tarkastuksessa. Tällöin pienryhmissä tarkastettiin kuutta kuvitteellista kappaletta ja piirustusta. Kappaleisiin oli simuloitu hitsausvirheitä sekä erilaisia laatutasoja sekä viimeistelyasteita. ⭐ Now it is published, shared, and trained to our welding personnel. Turula welder handbook!   So, what is going on? Main goal was clarifying availability of our welding process operating instructions. We wanted to offer handbook to welder, where can find all essential instructions of welding process in Turula. For example, how tacking shall be made, how measure preheat temperature, what is expedient finishing level.   One month ago, we distributed printed handbooks to welders. Actual training was implemented in two parts, where final part was emphasized own work inspections.
