Wind turbines produced a record-breaking 442.1 GWh of electricity, surpassing the previous record of 374.4 GWh, set in January 2024. In December, wind turbines maintained their position as the primary source of electricity in Lithuania for the third month in a row. INIKTI Steps Towards a Sustainable Future in 2024. We continued developing wind energy in Europe 🇪🇺 and Lithuania 🇱🇹. Wind turbines now account for a significant share of the country’s electricity production, and we are proud to contribute to sustainable energy solutions and the pursuit of energy independence. ✅️ Project Development Last year, we successfully continued the development of over 50 wind turbine projects in Western and Central Lithuania. One of the projects is planned to include 45 wind turbines. We completed two major projects comprising over 100 wind turbines, with a total capacity of 708 MW. These parks match the capacity of the planned Baltic Sea wind park, which is expected to reach 700 MW. Additionally, we contributed to hybrid park projects featuring 73 MW of solar power plants and energy storage systems, either already installed or planned. In some of these hybrid projects, we acted as the general contractor; in others, we obtained construction permits, while certain projects are still under development. ✅️ Major Technical Projects In collaboration with the German company Firmengruppe Max Bögl, we constructed 15 hybrid towers for new wind turbines in 2024. This marks a significant beginning of our partnership with one of Europe’s most innovative construction companies. We continue our cooperation with Max Bögl to pursue even more ambitious projects and implement cutting-edge solutions. In 2024, we also began cooperation with the Norwegian company Aneo, a leading onshore wind turbine operator in the region. Aneo operates wind turbines with a total capacity of 1.3 TWh per year, and the group oversees turbines capable of generating 6 TWh of energy annually. Wind turbine maintenance remains a key focus of our operations. We committed to a 15-year maintenance contract for two newly built wind parks in Lithuania and started providing technical services for over 50 turbines in Ireland. A long-term maintenance agreement ensures the efficient operation of these turbines and enhances our technical service expertise in the international market. ✅️ Electricity Production At the end of the year, we completed an 18 MW wind park in Lithuania. With this project finalized, the total annual electricity production of our wind turbines will reach approximately 90 GWh. ✅️ International Cooperation In 2024, we became members of the Federal Wind Energy Association (BWE) and the Swedish Wind Energy Association (SWEA). We also joined the Swedish Wind Power Association (Svensk Vindkraft). Preliminary consultations are ongoing with wind energy associations in Ireland, Ukraine, France, and Poland. In 2024, we expanded wind energy services across Lithuania, Western Europe, and Scandinavia and moved to a modern office in central Vilnius. Our projects now cover 13 countries across Europe and Australia.
