The Scholarship Fund for Swedish Youth Abroad is offering a unique opportunity for a young, creative business talent to develop their skills through a 12-month management trainee position with the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania. This annual scholarship allows a Swedish national to gain hands-on experience in international trade and business development.
𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞
As a scholarship recipient, you will join the team at the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Vilnius, working alongside the Managing Director and board members to support the Chamber’s mission of fostering Swedish-Lithuanian business relations. You’ll engage in a variety of tasks, such as:
▪️Planning and executing monthly events for the Chamber’s members
▪️Leading individual projects that benefit member companies in Lithuania
▪️Participating in all Board meetings and assisting in membership recruitment and retention
▪️Coordinating communication strategies and generating content for digital channels
▪️Enhancing collaboration between the Swedish Chamber of Commerce and the Swedish Embassy in Lithuania
𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
You’ll work from AltSpace Workspace in Vilnius, a dynamic hub for local and international entrepreneurs to collaborate, learn, and expand their businesses.

Ideal candidates for this scholarship should meet the following criteria:
▫️𝐸𝑙𝑖𝑔𝑖𝑏𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑦: 𝑇ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑜𝑝𝑝𝑜𝑟𝑡𝑢𝑛𝑖𝑡𝑦 𝑖𝑠 𝑠𝑝𝑒𝑐𝑖𝑓𝑖𝑐𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑦 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑖𝑛𝑑𝑖𝑣𝑖𝑑𝑢𝑎𝑙𝑠 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝑆𝑤𝑒𝑑𝑖𝑠ℎ 𝑐𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑧𝑒𝑛𝑠ℎ𝑖𝑝.
▫️Educational Background: Recent bachelor’s or master’s degree from a Swedish university, preferably in economics, marketing, or communication.
▫️Communication Skills: Excellent written and spoken proficiency in both Swedish and English.
▫️Digital Savvy: Interest in social media and digital communication as much of the event promotion is online.
▫️Entrepreneurial Spirit: Enthusiastic, proactive, and comfortable networking within diverse business environments.
