At the beginning of autumn, we celebrated a special occasion - the Hop Festival, an employee event to celebrate the summer's work and to mark the 240th birthday of Švyturys Brewery! 🎈 The event's highlight was the "Go" tournament with active competitions: dodgeball, trivia games and a "Radler" sprint, the winners of which won a flight at the Darius and Girėnas aerodrome! 🎯 With Vaidas Baumila playing the music and DJ Juokaz keeping the rhythm, host Ričardas Mikavičius ensured the atmosphere was special and fun. Congratulations to Samanta Pinaitytė, the talented actress awarded this year’s €5,000 Švyturys Klaipėda's Future Scholarship, established by UAB Švyturys - Utenos alus! 👏🎉 In the inspiring ambiance of Švyturys BHouse, Klaipėda’s culture-makers gathered on Friday, including the five remarkable finalists. The committee selected Samanta, whose contributions to Klaipėda’s theaters and beyond have already earned her the prestigious Golden Cross of the Stage. Samanta’s impact is profound: she brings stories to life on stage, engages in social initiatives, and teaches theater to children and people with disabilities, spreading the powerful message of theatre therapy. To Samanta and all finalists, thank you for enriching Klaipėda with your passion and dedication. Thank you for contributing to a prosperous and vibrant Klaipėda, where it is good to live! 🌊

However, even this leadership did not fall into our lap – we achieved, sustained, and continually proved it through consistent daily efforts.   Now UAB Švyturys - Utenos alus has been acknowledged as the leader of the entire food industry sector. We are extremely proud of this new achievement!   In this ranking, not only were our revenue and profit indicators evaluated, but also our reputation, wage levels, and the relevance of the topics we communicate to the public – in our case, sustainability and innovation.   For us, sustainability is not just a promise but an action. Next year, we will become one of the first to use solar energy with an advanced storage system – our entire production will operate without additional CO2 emissions, and our PET bottles will contain 30% recycled plastic, exceeding EU standards. 🌿   We are not only beer masters but also innovation leaders. On September 24th, we held a leadership workshop where we delved into the “My Voice” employee engagement survey results. We understand that continually listening to our employees and taking action based on their feedback is essential for our growth as a company where everyone feels valued and important. 🌱 The ideas refined during the workshop will become an integral part of our action plan – we aim to further strengthen the culture of engagement, growth, and well-being. We are moving forward, as responding to the feedback is another step toward building a stronger team.
