We’re excited to announce a new partnership with Oxfam as part of their #SecondHandSeptember campaign! Vinted’s new Impact Report is here! 🌎♻️ We’ve done extensive research with over 100,000 Vinted members to understand the impact of second-hand on people and the climate. Here’s what we found: ➡️ Second-hand is now a core part of wardrobes across Europe, with two-thirds of our members having at least a quarter of their wardrobes made up of second-hand items. ➡️ In 2023 alone, Vinted members helped avoid 679 kilotonnes of CO2e by buying second-hand instead of new. The equivalent of flying between London and LA more than 500,000 times! ➡️ An impressive 84% of Vinted buyers believe the quality of second-hand items on Vinted is as good as or even better than new items.
