The Head of KYB Onboarding Unit oversees and optimises the customer onboarding process (for B2B customers). This role involves building and leading a high-performing team, ensuring compliance with KYB regulations, and driving process improvements through data analysis and automation. The ideal candidate will have a strong team management, compliance, and project management background.

The Head of KYB Onboarding Unit oversees and optimises the customer onboarding process (for B2B customers). This role involves building and leading a high-performing team, ensuring compliance with KYB regulations, and driving process improvements through data analysis and automation. The ideal candidate will have a strong team management, compliance, and project management background.
Your regular tasks
- Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing onboarding team (5+), ensuring adherence to regulations and procedures
- Process Optimisation: Develop and implement robust and efficient KYB onboarding processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations
- Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to optimize the onboarding process
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless onboarding
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Develop and utilize reporting systems to track onboarding metrics and identify areas for improvement
- Project Management: Oversee the implementation of new onboarding tools and technologies
- 5+ years of experience in leading and managing KYB (and KYC) onboarding team on an international level
- Proven track record in building and developing high-performing teams of up to 10 members
- Experience with regulatory examinations and audits related to KYC/KYB
- Experience working with complex Customers such as financial institutions, gambling, IT/Software, Marketing, or forex clients is a must
- Expertise in setting and tracking KPIs and performance metrics
- In-depth knowledge of anti-fraud, transactions, and risk management principles within the fintech, payments, or related industries
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to optimize onboarding processes
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of relevant data analysis and visualization tools
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Advanced English language proficiency
