I had the pleasure of presenting the ACUMEN Project Project at the Mobilithek User Group Meeting on December 29th in Munich! ACUMEN – an **AI-aided Decision tool for seamless multi-modal network and traffic management** – addresses the complex challenge of managing multimodal transport services that meet customer needs, improve safety, reduce congestion, and support decarbonization goals. By implementing advanced monitoring and forecasting tools, a decentralized data-sharing framework, and innovative decision-making solutions, ACUMEN aims to integrate new technologies effectively and sustainably within urban transport systems. HERE Technologies plays the role of a data provider in ACUMEN to enable detailed traffic analysis and simulation. The Mobilithek User Group, a community of over 40 enthusiastic users from industry, academia, and public administration, is a committed advocate for Mobilithek’s impact and continued development. Supported by the Federal Highway Research Institute (BASt), this group drives Mobilithek’s visibility and fosters collaboration to advance mobility data-sharing in Germany. It was inspiring to see the interest and engagement around ACUMEN’s approach to optimizing mobility services and enhancing collaboration among mobility providers. #ACUMEN #Mobilithek #heretechnologies
