COMO Digital Life - Someday all banks will do what we do. Jerome Bloch Thanks for your recognition. Wishing us all an amazing year 2025!
3 posts that made me Proud in 2024. People often ask me how I find the discipline to post 'every morning'. The answer is simple: I believe that this is important for Luxembourg and that my efforts have an impact. 🤗 Here are the 3 posts that motivate me to push harder in 2025: #1 Why Chefs Leave Luxembourg (And how to stop the bleeding) Source: https://lnkd.in/endYfpr4 This post has brought my heroic friends in the spotlight. Beyond all the absurd discussions from CGFP, banks and politicians, Chefs perfectly illustrate our generous, hardworking and often struggling Real Economy. Impact: It is not in the accord the coalition, but a reform of the index allowing specific sectors to negotiate with their employees to save the business is gaining traction. #2 Luxembourg has an entitlement cancer we all need to cure Source: https://lnkd.in/eSYeQSUC A drama was taking place behind this post. An entrepreneur with 15 employees working on the iconic "Skypark" had been kicked-out of Revolut, and every local bank refused him. Bankruptcy was a few hours away. Double Impact: - COMO Digital Life, a digital player regulated by CSSF opened the bank account. 15 jobs saved. 💪 - And then I met the decision makers of several banks who refused this client, asking if Como was doing something illegal or if their bank was 'the problem'. They were all shocked to realise how brainless procedures had almost killed this company and promised to improve their 'service'. Work in progress. #3 Publishing the LuxembourgOfficial Top150 List. Source: https://lnkd.in/exhjYD85 Yeah, just like you, I have spent years complaining about nonsensical listings and "paid-for" awards. In three years, with the support of experts like Johan Bierebeeck and Alessandro Rizzo, we have created the golden standard about the real economy in Luxembourg: A solid methodology, zero sponsor, the data to back each line, and several members of our Parliament in the room. Impact: This is clearly how Luxembourg voters and decision makers will be better informed, and how we can all collaborate to reform our unsustainable economy. Long story short: - We are all in the same boat, and 2024 clearly showed that Luxembourg's economy needs to be reformed. - It is scary to read CGFP when it says that "It does not agree with the numbers of Martine Deprez". This should be the easy part. Enjoy our Stripes' dataset and please send new sources: https://lnkd.in/e54ersxm (We have highlighted the best sources) - But most importantly, GET INVOLVED!
