AMI Stretch and Shrink Films conference in Charleston, SC has wrapped up after an excellent program discussing several key impacts to the industry. These included: - EPR status in the US and the applicability to secondary B2B packaging by FPA and Ameripen. - The impact of stretch film imports into NA and the premium NA producers are paying for PE resin vs. other regions, making it more difficult for NA producers to compete. Excellent presentation by Esteban Sagel of Chemical and Polymer Market Consultants. - Inclusion of PCR in stretch films and the impending PPWR regulations in EU that will significantly impact the long term viability of PE based stretch wrap in the EU. The conference also provided an excellent opportunity to connect with customers and new contacts for Ingenia's new Regional Sales Manager for the SouthEast US region, Mr. Aric Axness, pictured on the left. Looking forward to next year's conference! #shrinkfilm #stretchfilm
