Were you aboard the Newspace Europe spaceship? 🚀 What an incredible ride! To keep us entertained during our light-year cruise, the brightest minds from all over the world took over the main deck to share their thoughts on the latest developments in the field, the prospects of space exploration, and the positive impact that space can have on Earth. 🌍 From the 2nd to the 5th of December, the European Convention Center Luxembourg (ECCL) gathered more than 1200 people, including international experts, entrepreneurs, policymakers, as well as space enthusiasts and visionaries. 🙌 🌠NewSpace Europe focused on how space businesses and companies can contribute to space-for-earth activities. 🌠The Moon Village Association promoted international collaboration in lunar exploration and settlement. 🌠European Space Agency - ESA's Space for Inspiration brought together key players driving commercial space exploration, focusing on the LEO and lunar economy. 🌠 Interstellar Symposium, the first of its kind in Europe, fostered discussions on ambitious long-term missions beyond our solar system, covering various aspects of interstellar travel. The LU Space Week also welcomed science fiction authors Brandon Q. Morris and Joshua T. Calvert to talk about how science collides with science fiction. 🛸 These thought-provoking discussions set the stage for the highly anticipated presentation by renowned guest, Professor Sara Seager, a Canadian-American astrophysicist, planetary scientist and pioneer in the search of exoplanets. 🌌 But that's not all! LU Space Week was also the cradle of a significant milestone. Luxembourg's Minister of Economy, Lex Delles, signed the charter committing to reducing orbital debris. 🛰️ A huge thank you to all the participants, moderators, speakers, sponsors and our partners for making the Luxembourg Space Week an incredible success! 💫 ESA BSGN | Business in Space Growth Network Interstellar Research Group #LUSpaceweek #spaceindustry #spacefield #conference #newspace
