Akos Haasz, Redwire’s Proba-3 Project Manager, recalls the excitement as the team unpacked the satellites in the check-out cleanroom and confirmed they arrived in perfect condition. Batteries were reinstalled, mechanical integration was completed, and all systems were verified to be functioning flawlessly. Additionally, working alongside the PSLV team, Redwire’s experts tested the electrical connections to ensure seamless communication on the launchpad—all completed in record time. 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮: ☑️ 𝗢𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲: Demonstrate precision formation-flying between satellites, maintaining an exact alignment of less than 1 millimeter at 150 meters distance. Which will allow to create an artificial eclipse to study the Sun and its impact on Earth. ☑️ 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮: The satellites' elliptical orbit will take them more than 60,000km from Earth. And each satellite will act autonomously, calculating its position and trajectory with monitoring every 7 days. ☑️ Spain demonstrates its worldwide leadership in guidance, navigation and control (GNC).
