🚀 Help Shape the Future of Circular Economy Standards! 🌍♻️ At Terra Matters, we believe that standards should meet the real needs of businesses—not the other way around. The ISO - International Organization for Standardization 59000 series plays a crucial role in guiding organizations toward circular business models, but for these standards to be truly effective, they must evolve with the realities of the field. 🔎 That’s why your input is essential! ISO is revising key Circular Economy standards (ISO 59004, ISO 59010, ISO 59020), and they want to hear from practitioners like you. Your feedback will help ensure these frameworks are clear, practical, and impactful in driving real change. 📢 If you work in sustainability, circular economy, or business transformation, take a few minutes to share your insights. Your experience can help refine the standards that will shape the future of resource preservation, waste reduction, and circular business models. 🔗 Take the survey here: https://lnkd.in/e4RwWGh6 Let's make sure these standards reflect the challenges and opportunities businesses face every day. 🚨 Today is Luxembourg’s Overshoot Day! 🚨 It took just 48 days for Luxembourg to consume its fair share of the Earth’s resources for the entire year. If the world lived like Luxembourg, we would need nearly 9 planets to sustain our way of life. This is not just a statistic—it’s a wake-up call. Our resource consumption is running on borrowed time, depleting what future generations should inherit. The circular economy is not a luxury; it is a necessity. 🔄 But there is hope. Companies, policymakers, and individuals can change the trajectory by designing products that last, reducing waste, and embracing circular business models. At Terra Matters, we are committed to making this transition possible through transparency and accountability in product circularity. 💡 Solutions exist, and they work. The question is: Will we use them in time? Let’s turn this alarm into action. What is one change you commit to today to push Overshoot Day further into the future? 🌍 #OvershootDay #CircularEconomy #Sustainability #TerraMatters #PCDS Picture Credit: Earth Overshoot Days

✨ Great discussions at the Circul'R Inspiration Day in Paris! ✨ Yesterday, Jérôme Dierickx and Carole Henry had the pleasure of joining the Circul’R Circularity Indicators Coalition at La Maison du Zéro Déchet, where they engaged in insightful exchanges on circularity indicators and data standardization. It was a privilege to present the Product Circularity Data Sheet (PCDS)—an initiative designed to standardize circular product data, enhancing transparency and regulatory alignment. A big thank you to Circul'R for bringing us all together. It was also a pleasure to meet Bénédicte Couffignal from RECORD - Recherche coopérative en environnement et économie circulaire. Connecting with so many like-minded companies committed to making circularity measurable, actionable, and scalable was truly inspiring. Looking forward to continuing these essential discussions and driving the circular economy forward with Club Circul’R! 🌍🔄 #CircularEconomy #DataForSustainability #PCDS #TerraMatters

🌍♻️ A building designed… to disappear? ♻️🌍 At first glance, it might seem strange to put so much effort into designing something temporary. But what if that effort wasn’t just about the next 6 months—but the next 60 years? The Doki Doki Luxembourg Expo Pavilion Osaka 2025 is more than a structure—it’s an experiment in circularity. Every element has been carefully planned, not just for its first use, but for what comes next. 🏗️ Refuse – Only the essential materials are used, minimizing weight and waste. 🔄 Reuse – Standardized materials are chosen to be repurposed after the Expo. ♻️ Recycle – Everything else is sorted and recycled locally. From floating mega blocks that avoid wasteful concrete foundations to a membrane roof that protects and cools with minimal materials—every aspect of the Pavilion embodies “design for disassembly.” This is just the beginning—stay tuned for more on this innovative project and why it matters! #DokiDoki #Expo2025 #Luxembourg #Sustainability #CircularEconomy #DesignForDisassembly #Reuse #Recycle
Have you already seen the Luxembourg Pavilion EMOXIs? 🇱🇺✨ They reflect two important themes: The Leitmotif of our Pavilion “Doki Doki – The Luxembourg Heartbeat” 💓 And circular economy, the principle under which the Pavilion was conceived and built: “designed for disassembly”. 🔄🏗️ And did you know? They are called EmoXies, including the X of the Luxembourg Signature.
