After two dynamic days at the #ELIAND event, I’m finally back home—despite a few missed connections and a late train! The journey was well worth it, though, as the insights, discussions, and connections made throughout the event were invaluable. I think I can speak for Brahim Aïoun and John Di Rico when I say we had a great time representing the tech side of the #l10n industry with Wordbee. A special thank you to Samuel Läubli for his inspiring keynote, which offered a fresh perspective on how AI can empower #LSPs to deliver more personalized, smarter services. His message on AI as a support tool rather than a replacement for human expertise set the perfect tone for the sessions that followed. Across both days, I had the chance to dive into engaging discussion groups with colleagues like Harald Krohmer, Larisa Tertis, and Etienne Jedele on AI, as well as Gaëtan Chrétiennot, Leonardo De Giacomi, and Yana Dinchiyska on adapting our strategies in an evolving industry and leveraging new technologies. These conversations sparked plenty of ideas that I’m excited to bring back to the team. One of the biggest highlights was connecting with so many knowledgeable professionals, both familiar faces and new ones—Veronika Ivanova, Anne-Marie Colliander Lind, and Steffen Garnich, among them. I also enjoyed connecting with Mohamad Samir, Nenad Andricsek, Alina Birsan, and many more during breaks and between sessions, which added even more depth to the event. Now, after a slightly chaotic trip home, I’m grateful for the experience and excited to keep these conversations going. Here’s to future collaborations, new friendships, and continued growth!
