🔷 Restoring the leading edge of wind turbine blades is no easy task, especially when performed by remotely operated robots. The challenge becomes even greater with blades featuring complex shapes, such as the bent tips of Enercon turbines. In October, we demonstrated robotic leading-edge erosion repair on an Enercon turbine in Germany. Aerones carried out repairs across the entire blade leading edge, using a specialized robotic arm.
