About us

Transparency International Latvia (Sabiedrība par atklatību – Delna) is a public benefit (charity) organization whose mission is to promote formation of a democratic society that is free of corruption in politics, business and mutual relations. TI Latvia - Delna was established in 1998 as a Latvian chapter of the global anti-corruption movement Transparency International. To reduce corruption, TI Latvia is proactively engaged in advocacy of transparency and integrity measures, monitors law enforcement and encourages the public not to stay silent, but to serve as a watchdog by calling out corruption. The main areas of TI Latvia expertise: - protection of whistleblowers; - conflict of interest; - political party financing; - lobbying transparency; - business ethics; - misuse of state administrative resources; - public procurement; - illegal financial fllows; - other watchdog functions.
