Apple agrees to pay $95 million over Siri eavesdropping; iPhone, Mac and iPad users may also get compensation
Apple has agreed to pay $95 million to settle a lawsuit alleging it used its Siri virtual assistant to eavesdrop on user conversations without their consent, sharing recordings with advertisers. The settlement, pending court approval, could result in compensation for millions of consumers affected between 2014 and 2021.
