Green Energy Park is pleased to announce that its team spent three weeks, from November 30 to December 19, in Offenburg, Germany, as part of the second "𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥" 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭, launched this year in collaboration with Offenburg University of Applied Sciences. During this time, the team explored traditional German construction techniques and prepared for the next phase of the project. We are also excited to share that the next 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 for this project will take place at the 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 & 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤 (𝐆𝐒𝐁𝐏), Green Energy Park’s platform dedicated to sustainable building and innovation. The project, titled "𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬: 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬," is funded by the DAAD German Academic Exchange Service under its "University-Business Partnerships" program, which supports collaborations between universities and businesses in Germany and Africa. This initiative strengthens the long-standing partnership between Green Energy Park and Offenburg University's INES -Institute of Sustainable Energy Systems, focusing on using traditional materials and sharing knowledge to improve energy efficiency in rural areas. Stay tuned for next year's summer school, where we will continue to innovate by integrating traditional materials into sustainable design. #GEP #UM6P #IRESEN #EnergyEfficiency #SustainableDevelopment #DAADFunding #Collaboration #KnowledgeExchange #SummerSchool2025 #Sustainability #Buildings Yens Pfafferott, Mouatassim Charai, PhD., Yamna SOUSSI, Simone Schede, Moritz Bühler, Zineb ZOUBIR, Imad AIT LAASRI, PhD., Marouane Wakil, Said Oubaha, Ph.D.

#GEP #IRESEN #UM6P #BilanCarbone #TransitionÉnergétique #IndustrieDurable #CBAM #EnergiesRenouvelables #InnovationVerte

Green Energy Park is pleased to announce that our PhD candidate, Ms. Salma NAIMI, represented our institution at #WE-Heraeus Seminar, "Uniting Today’s Nanotechnology for Advancing Tomorrow’s Semiconductor Physics." The seminar took place from November 12 to 15, 2024, at the Physikzentrum Bad Honnef in Germany. This event brought together leading experts and researchers from the top-down and bottom-up nanofabrication community to jointly develop nanotechnological solutions for a faster and more energy-efficient device physics of the future. Ms. Naimi actively contributed to the scientific discussions with her poster presentation titled “Unveiling γ-CuI as a Promising Hole Transporting Material: A DFT Investigation for Enhanced Perovskite Solar Cells.” Her work showcased the potential of Density Functional Theory (DFT) in analyzing and predicting the properties of advanced materials. Specifically, she highlighted γ-CuI as a case study, demonstrating its capabilities as a hole transporting material to improve the performance of perovskite solar cells. #GEP #IRESEN #UM6P #HTM #Perovskite #Research #Innovation #DFT #physikzentrum #HeraeusSeminar #dpgphysik
