Exhibits are collaborative workspaces within TraceAir designed to provide context and a single source of truth for specific areas or tasks within a project. These custom views evolve throughout the project's life cycle, ensuring the entire team stays aligned and communication remains efficient.
Use Cases for Exhibits
Visual Planning: Organize and schedule key activities and tasks during construction meetings. In subsequent meetings, update the Exhibit by adjusting the scan date, refreshing the status, and outlining the next steps for upcoming work.
Track Installation Progress: Keep a close eye on the progress of utility installations, pavement, and other critical infrastructure. Ensure your Exhibit reflects the latest site conditions by updating it with each new scan.
Track Lot Statuses and Due Dates: Manage deadlines and monitor progress effortlessly by tracking the status and due dates of individual lots, ensuring no detail is overlooked.
Set Your Favorite View: Focus on specific areas of interest, such as a particular house, community park, or potential trouble spot like a stormwater runoff area, by setting a favorite view that’s easily accessible.
Plan Events: Streamline the planning of community openings or other significant events by using Exhibits. Share the link with vendors and stakeholders to ensure everyone is on the same page.
Record Walk-Through Punch Lists: Efficiently capture and document any issues identified during walk-throughs, ensuring that nothing is missed and that all action items are clearly communicated.
Identify and Record Changes from Design: Accurately track and document any changes from the original design to maintain precise records and facilitate clear communication among the team.
How To Use Exhibits
Utilize the various tools within TraceAir to draw, measure, add notes, overlay project plans, and verify progress with real site data. Once you've created and organized the content you need, proceed to save your Exhibit.
2. Save the Exhibit: When your content is ready, select "Save Exhibit" in the top bar.
3. Name the Exhibit: A window will open on the left asking you to name the exhibit.
4. Set Visibility and Editing Access:
By default, the exhibit is saved as a public exhibit visible to all users on your project. Below the photo, you can set editing access: "Restrict editing" allows only you to make edits, while "Everyone can edit" permits any users on your project to make edits. When complete, select "Save Public Exhibit."
To save as a private exhibit, select "My Exhibits" at the top of the window and then save. Exhibits saved in this folder will only be visible to you.
5. Revisit and Update Exhibits: You can revisit your exhibits anytime by selecting "Exhibits" in the toolbar on the left. To update an exhibit, select "Update Exhibit" in the top toolbar.
6. Share Your Exhibit: Select "Copy Link to Share" to obtain a shareable link for easy access by your team.
