Earlier this year, we recognised a lack of comprehensive data on yacht management services within the industry. To address this, we partnered with BOAT International Media to launch a survey aimed at gathering insights from industry professionals and ultimately enhancing the quality of yacht management services. With an investment project of close to eight million euros, STP Shipyard Palma is expanding to cater for the ever-growing demand for superyacht maintenance and refit in Mallorca. With an investment of nearly eight million euros, the development will see the total area of the yard expand from 130,000m² to 162,000m², incorporating 102,000m² on the hard and 60,000 m² in the water. The expansion also includes the construction of five new berths for yachts up to 110m in length. With its new office located a stone’s throw from STP on Avenida de Gabriel Roca, our Spain office encompasses an experienced team that offers refit and maintenance project management, as well as operational and technical support, yacht management, and crew recruitment. Our Client Relationship Manager Spain, Josie Burke, says; “Palma is hugely popular as a superyacht refit and maintenance destination thanks to the quality infrastructure and open house format that STP offers.
