     Major Sir Kenelm Henry Ernest Cayley, 10th Bt. was born on 24 September 1896.¹ He was the son of Sir George Everard Arthur Cayley, 9th Bt. and Lady Mary Susan Montagu-Stuart-Wortley.² He married Frances Elizabeth Edwyna Brewis, daughter of Lt.-Col. Francis Bertie Brewis and Dorothy Katharine Walker, on 17 September 1929.¹ He died on 27 December 1967 at age 71.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 3rd Battalion, Suffolk Regiment.¹ He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded and became a POW.¹ He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Cayley, of Brompton, co.
