     Sir John Robert Whyte Ackroyd, 2nd Bt. was born on 2 March 1932.² He was the son of Sir Cuthbert Lowell Ackroyd, 1st Bt. and Joyce Wallce Whyte.² He married Jennifer Eileen McLeod Bishop, daughter of Henry George Stokes Bishop, on 23 March 1956.² He died on 30 August 1995 at age 63.²
     He was educated at Bradfield School, England^G.² He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Royal Artillery.² He fought in the campaign in Jordan between 1951 and 1952.² He was Steward of the Oxford University Drama Society in 1954.² He graduated from Worcester College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1955 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He graduated from Worcester College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1958 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He was underwriting member of Lloyd's before 1969.² He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Ackroyd, of Dewsbury, Yorkshire [U.K., 1956] on 11 April 1973.² He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Music (F.R.C.M.) in 1988.² He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society of Arts (F.R.S.A.) in 1989.²

     Philadelphia Carey was the daughter of Hon. Thomas Carey. She married Sir Henry Lyttelton, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Thomas Lyttelton, 1st Bt. and Catherine Crompton, before 1663.¹ She died on 2 August 1663.¹
     From before 1663, her married name became Lyttelton.¹

     Hon. Thomas Carey was born in 1616.² He was the son of Robert Carey, 1st Earl of Monmouth and Elizabeth Trevannion.³ He married Margaret Smith, daughter of Sir Thomas Smith. He died in 1649.²

     Robert Carey, 1st Earl of Monmouth was born in 1560.² He was the son of Henry Carey, 1st Baron Hunsdon of Hunsdon and Ann Morgan.³ He married Elizabeth Trevannion, daughter of Sir Hugh Trevannion and Sybilla Morgan, on 20 August 1593 at Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland, England^G. He died on 12 April 1639.³
     He held the office of Chamberlain of the Household, of Charles, Prince of Wales.⁴ He was created 1st Baron Carey of Leppington, co. York [England] on 6 February 1621/22.⁴ He was created 1st Earl of Monmouth [England] on 5 February 1625/26.⁴

     William Henry MacLeod Annesley was born in 1992.¹ He is the son of David Robert Ewart Annesley and Jane Victoria McLeod Ackroyd.¹

     John Crouch lived at Cornbury, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹

     William Gerald Annesley was born on 27 November 1937.¹ He is the son of Major William Alan Cecil Annesley and Dorothy Vaughan Yewdall.¹

     Charles Lyttelton was the son of Brig.-Gen. Sir Charles Lyttelton, 3rd Bt. and Anne Temple.¹ He married, secondly, Anne Saunders, daughter of Thomas Saunders and Ellen Sadleir, after 1702.¹ He died on 16 August 1712.¹

     Cary Lyttelton was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Sir Charles Lyttelton, 3rd Bt. and Anne Temple.¹ She married Sir Theophilus Biddulph, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Michael Biddulph, 2nd Bt. and Henrietta Maria Witley.¹ She died on 18 April 1741 at Elmhurst, Staffordshire, England^G.¹
     Her married name became Biddulph.¹
